Metl Chair or Agave Chair  

This piece was created by industrial designer Juan José Olivares originally from Hidalgo, Mexico. Pay homage to the maguey plant through this chair in a clean and dynamic way, the metal structure simulates the  silhouette  of the maguey leaves.  In collaboration with the designer, YE'ii created the  seat in 100% natural wool dyed according to ancestral processes and developed  3 different designs  with color variations,  woven by means of the pedal loom in an artisanal way, all inspired by the color palettes derived from both the maguey and the land and landscapes in which they grow.

Like the maguey which can easily adapt to adverse climates and terrain, this quality was replicated in the chair, so you have the option of easily changing seats, this makes it versatile, even more unique and extends the life of the chair. same.
